Caucasus International University (CIU) – LLC has been in existence for 26 years. The University is a Private Law Legal Entity – a Limited Liability Company. In 1995, the university was established as a Clinitsist medical institute. In the same year, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Georgia granted the institution a licence. The Accreditation Council of Higher Education Institutions gave it accreditation in 2005. Clinitsist’s name and founders were changed in 2006, and the institute became a multi-profile higher education institution. Business, Law, Medicine, Social Sciences, and Viticulture-Winemaking are among the faculties of Caucasus International University.
Caucasus International University is a research-based educational and scientific institution that promotes socioeconomic development and promotes Georgian and global cultural values based on current knowledge. By employing new methodologies, as well as multicultural education and a dynamic university life, Caucasus International University develops a modern learning and research environment. The University ensures the raising of a democratically minded generation that will be competitive in both the local and international labour markets. The World Directory of Medical Schools, the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), and the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research are all members of Caucasus International University (FAIMER). Students at the Viticulture-Winemaking department have the chance to study all phases of Georgian viticulture-winemaking in line with internationally recognised modern methodologies known as “wine from the ground to the table.” Public Broadcasting, Georgian Association of Regional Broadcasting, news agencies, online portals, and the press have all signed memorandums and contracts with Caucasus International University in the areas of broadcasting, printing, and electronic media. The Faculty of Business at Caucasus International University brings together Georgia’s most important professions and provides undergraduate and postgraduate studies to those who are interested.
